Who I Am:

I am currently a M.S. candidate in the Karst Research Group in the Department of
Geology at the University of South Florida. My research interests include karst
geomorphology and  GIS. 

My thesis involves mapping karst sinkholes in Pinellas County, FL using airborne 
laser swath mapping (ALSM).   


I received my B.S. in geosciences from Mississippi State University. After graduation, 
I worked for a year in resource management at Great Basin National Park, Nevada.

Currently I am engaged in several research projects in the United States and elsewhere. These projects include:

Sinkhole mapping in Pinellas County, FL

Exploration and study of Bahamian caves

Investigations of Cuban karst
