The Student Karst Research Group at USF announces our 4th Semi-Annual "Best of Karst" Event October 24-25th, 2008.

We are proud to be hosting not one, but two distinguished karst professors this time, Drs. John and Joan Mylroie, both from Mississippi State University. Our guests specialize in island karst development and have diverse and broad interests in karst. The event's schedule (see below) includes several talks, and a reception on Frida 10/24. We hope to see you there!

**MAIN EVENTS** Fri. Oct 24th, 2008- 9:30am & 3:30pm

Best of Karst lectures by Drs. John and Joan Mylorie

(I) "Cave Cartography: A Tool for Understanding Carbonate Island Caves"- Dr. Joan Mylroie - NES 323 @ 9:30am

 (II) “ "Syndepositional Karst: Making Limestones and Caves at
the Same Time"
- Dr. John Mylroie- CHM 101 @ 3:30pm

Reception will follow colloquium.
