Doctoral Seminar Series

This seminar series explores research issues in the areas of speech, hearing, child language, and adult language. Presentations are given by members of the department and also by distinguished researchers from other academic, medical, and corporate institutions. As indicated in the table below, many presentations are offered for ASHA CEUs (Intermediate level; Professional area). In these cases, CEUs are free to USF faculty and students. There will be a $10.00 fee for others seeking CEUs.

Unless otherwise noted in the table below, presentations take place on Fridays from 2:15-3:30pm in PCD 4004. Although the presentations are open to the public, the series is arranged as a component of a course for doctoral students which begins at 1:00pm. ***Therefore: Attendees who are not enrolled in the class are asked to wait outside the classroom if they arrive more than 10 minutes before the start of the presentation (i.e. prior to 2:05pm for presentations that begin at 2:15pm).
