This meeting aims to showcase current archaeological and ethnohistorical research in Mesoamerica being conducted by scholars resident in the Southeastern United States, with the greater goal of encouraging productive discussion, communication, and interaction. The event includes 13 presentations from Mesoamerican archaeologists, art historians, and ethnohistorians from 12 different colleges, universities, museums, and foundations who will discuss their active investigations of precolumbian and early colonial Mesoamerican societies.

 

The conference will take place at Florida Atlantic University, Boca Raton. This event is free and open to the public, and there is no registration fee. Parking for the event is free.
