Call for Submissions: SSPHS Publication Prizes

The following SSPHS prizes will be awarded at the Society's annual meeting in Santa Fe in April 2001:
 

Best dissertation completed in 1996, 1997, or 1998.

Best first article published in 1997, 1998, or 1999.

Best first book published in 1998, 1999, or 2000.


Articles may be in Castilian, English, Catalan, Galician, Portuguese, or French. Articles in other languages will be considered if the original is accompanied by a full-text translation into Castilian, English, or Portuguese. Only articles that appeared within the calendar years indicated will be eligible for consideration. Submission should include the following:
 

(1) A copy of the publication (photocopies are acceptable);

(2) A copy of the approval page, in the case of dissertations, and a copy of the journal's contents page showing the journal title, volume, and date, in the case of articles;

(3) The author's resume, including current address.
 

Send eligible submissions by January 15, 2001, to each of the members of the relevant prize committee:
