Research Interests: The role of emotion in the etiology, course, and comorbidity of major depression and generalized anxiety

Master's Thesis: The effect of stress on hedonic capacity in generalized anxiety disorder: A prospective, experimental study of one potential pathway to depression

Research Interests: The way mood affects the manner in which an individual experiences and interacts with the environment; specifically, goal generation and disengagement, cognitive theories of unipolar depression, and ways of differentiating unipolar and bipolar depression.

Master's Thesis: Does goal generation and pursuit vary as a function of depressive status?

Research Interests: gender differences in predictors of depression, emotional reactivity, differentiating bipolar and unipolar mood disorders, psychophysiology.
