Paid Emotion Research

We are seeking individuals who are currently experiencing significant difficulties with depression, including problems such as sad mood, and a loss of interest in everyday activities, for a study of how emotional disturbances influence cardiovascular functioning. We are also seeking individuals who have experienced emotional difficulties in the past, as well as those who have never experienced difficulties with depression or other mental health or substance use problems . 

Eligible participants will receive 15$/hr. The study takes place at the Department of Psychology at USF. Parts of the study involve an interview, questionnaires, and measurement of breathing and heart rate at rest and performing simple tasks.
