The Mood and Emotion Laboratory at the University of South Florida is a research laboratory devoted to the integration of affective and clinical science. More specifically, we apply methods and insights drawn from basic research on emotion to further understanding of important clinical conditions such as major depressive disorder. We are also a teaching laboratory, training advanced undergraduates and graduate students in the measurement and analysis of emotion, using both experimental and naturalistic methods. Our work is funded by the National Institutes of Health.
